Sarah Anne
Sarah Anne Maxan Gould (1869 - 1943) lived at Pemberton Ridge in the house where Dick and Gertie Dickson lived. When her husband, Will Gould, died in 1936 her grandson Norman Higgs took on the task of running the farm on her behalf. He was 19. Annie, as she was known, mentions a lot of familiar names, births, deaths, accidents and life in general.
